Kathleen’s Bead Studio offers an extensive range of custom-made fine beaded jewellery for all occasions.  Author and Designer Kathleen Barry designs and oversees the manufacture of all the handmade jewellery and accessories personally at her studio in Cape Town, South Africa.  Kathleen’s Bead Studio’s jewellery is designed, manufactured and packed with the utmost care using the finest quality material available to us,

Our jewellery features natural materials such as semi-precious stones, fresh water pearls and is handmade, therefore, size and colours may vary slightly from item to item measurements and materials used are described in detail on the site along with the photographs.

Our Jewellery is carefully checked before shipping for quality of workmanship, in the unlikely event that any item be found to have a defect we will happily repair or replace it provided the item has not been damaged as a result of negligent or excessive wear and tear or non adherence to cleaning and care advice, witch accompanies every piece that is sold.

Delivery policy

Subject to availability and receipt of payment, requests will be processed within 3 business days and delivery confirmed by way of email, including a tracking number for the parcel.

Should the product not be in stock, please allow 10 working days plus freight transit time. This will allow for manufacturing and delivery.

Every effort is made to effect shipment of your order timeously however unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. Should we be faced with such an occurrence Kathleen’s Bead Studio will contact you via email and provide a revised shipping schedule.

Customer privacy policy

Kathleen’s Bead Studio cc shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA may be downloaded from:

Payment options accepted

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard or by bank transfer into the Kathleen’s Bead Studio cc bank account, the details of which will be provided on request

Credit card acquiring and security

Credit card transactions will be acquired for Kathleen’s Bead Studio cc via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Customer details separate from card details

The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).

Responsibility

Kathleen’s Bead Studio cc takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods.

Consent

I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to Kathleen’s Bead Studio cc and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Kathleen’s Bead Studio cc for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me.

Monitoring

We have the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any activity and content associated with the Website. We may investigate any reported violation of these Conditions or complaints and take any action that we deem appropriate (which may include, but is not limited to, issuing warnings, suspending, terminating or attaching conditions to your access and/or removing any materials from the Website).

Country of domicile
